First visit
An hour and a quarter, mostly resting
A first visit takes about 75 minutes. Later visits take about 50.
- 01
Step 1: We talk
About 20 minutes about your health, your week and whom you see for your pregnancy or recovery.
- 02
Step 2: You settle in
On your side with pillows, or in a recliner. Loose clothing rolled up, and a blanket if you like.
- 03
Step 3: The treatment
A few fine needles or ear seeds, chosen with you. You rest for about 20 minutes.
- 04
Step 4: A plan
Before you leave, we say what we did and what we suggest next. You decide.
Before you come
What to wear, bring and tell us
What to wear
Loose clothes that roll up past the elbow and the knee. A top that opens at the front is easy if you are feeding.
What to eat
Something light a couple of hours before. It is better not to come hungry or very full.
What to bring
A list of everything you take, medicines and supplements included. Your baby, and whatever your baby needs.
What to tell us first
How far along you are and what your doctor or midwife has said, blood thinners or a bleeding disorder, a pacemaker, lymph node removal, or a fear of needles. We adjust, or suggest other care.
